Information and advice for landlords So how does it work?
We process the rent payment from the council to you via your tenants Credit Union account.
Housing Benefit is processed in a restricted access part of a tenants account meaning it is guaranteed to make it to you as their landlord on time, every time.
You will be paid by BACS payment into your Bank or Building Society account.
All you need to do is get your tenants to become NCU members and complete the necessary forms; it’s really that easy!

Our 60 day change of tenant’s payment details requirement means you can be guaranteed due rent and be pre warned of any changes.
We will liaise with the local authority and inform you if and when changes are made.

If you are accredited with DASH (Decent and Safe Homes) you qualify for a 10% discount on the service.
How do I get started?

Ask your tenant to complete the necessary forms; phone us on 0115 8283121 or email
margarett@nottinghamcu.co.uk
and we will send them a pack in the post.

You will be invoiced monthly at a fee of £5 per rent payment with discount available.

The National Landlords Association (NLA) has given a great response to the service Credit Unions provide to private landlords.
